- What is required to achieve a high conversion rate and successfully grow your business in record time?
- Why your Marketing Funnel is the ultimate asset
- How when done correctly, your Marketing Funnel allows you to make money while you sleep
Next week, I’ll show you how to start constructing your first high converting Marketing Funnel.
Now, to take a page from the late, bestselling author Steven Covey, the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People…
…you want to begin your marketing with the end in mind.
And that’s to consider the conversion rate of your product or service, because a high conversion rate equals massive profits.
Knowing and working your conversion rates, gives you the necessary control to grow your business.
When you’re a new business, ask yourself, how am I going to sell my offerings effortlessly?
And who wants or needs what I offer the most?
That is, even before you think of the name of your company, before you think of designing a logo, advertisement…
…you must establish what you’re going to sell and who you’re going to sell to. And be real specific.
Think conversion, even before you start planning your marketing. So the three most important questions to ask prior to any marketing are:
1. Am I in the right market
2. How easy is it going to be to sell what I offer?
3. Is it a hot market or is it a cold market?
If you choose a market that’s not passionate about purchasing your service or product.
Or doesn’t identify with the problem your offers solve, your conversion rates will be terrible.
Again, these are the questions you have to be asking prior to deploying your marketing and sales plan.
At the end of the day, it comes down to your conversion rates. The elements that make high conversion rates possible is your service and product offerings.
And of course your target audience.
(I hope) You are starting to see, why the image or brand identity approach to marketing strategy is completely backwards.
What does your business image and brand identity have to do with making more sales?
You know, the questions I ask myself and clients are:
How can I scale this business?
How do I grow this business into a big business?
And when you’re already a big business, you can ask, how can I just keep growing?
Remember, when you’re not growing, you’re dying.
This is true whether, you’re a small business or a big business.
The one answer to all of your marketing and sales challenges is to understand your conversion rates.
From a marketing standpoint, your conversion rate is where your focus must be. In order to achieve a high conversion rate and successfully grow your business a Marketing Funnel is required.
Now, picture in your mind’s eye an inverted pyramid.
At the top of the pyramid you have your base, which is the start of your Marketing Funnel.
What happens next?
You’re going to take your audience, consisting of ideal customers, you’re going to drop them into your Marketing Funnel.
The funnel filters them out, and at the bottom of this funnel will emerge customers.
Profits.
Your Marketing Funnel, assuming it’s high converting, will create customers, mostly on autopilot.
If you’re Marketing Funnel architecture is built correctly, making sales is simply a matter of driving as much of your target audience, as possible, to the top of your Marketing Funnel.
Then, watching your new customers come out the bottom of your Marketing Funnel.
That’s the power of the Marketing Funnel.
Okay?
Really, the Marketing Funnel is literally the engine of your business.
It’s the A-to-Z blueprint, if you will, to get exactly how to make sales effortless, okay?
When you don’t have a Marketing Funnel, you don’t have a Marketing System.
And again, without a high converting Marketing Funnel, your marketing and sales efforts are fatally handicapped.
Again, that’s how critical a Marketing Funnel is to having any kind of massive business success.
So what does a high converting Marketing Funnel look like? Picture your Marketing Funnel as a Buyers’ Path.
That is, the path your customers go through, from the moment they learn of you, to buying your first offer.
And then to buying again and again, to referring their friends, associates, and clients.
This whole chain of events is the Buyer’s Path, which you influence. The Buyers’ Path and the Marketing Funnel, are one and the same.
Your Marketing Funnel equals the Buyers’ Path.
When you let sales happen at random, you’ll lose control over the success of your business.
Also, your business isn’t scalable if there isn’t any predictability to sales. You have to minimize risk and stack the odds of success in your favor.
The faster and easier way to accomplish this is with a high converting Marketing Funnel.
The higher your conversion rate, the more effortless your leads buy your services or products and move through your Buyers’ Path.
The conversion rate will tell you how scalable your business is.
Once you know your conversion rate, it’s a simple matter of promoting and driving traffic to the entry point of your Marketing Funnel.
Your Marketing Funnel is the ultimate asset.
It allows you to make money while you sleep. It gives you the ability to put your business on autopilot.
So how do you construct a high converting Marketing Funnel?
That’s what we’ll be talking about next so stay tuned.
