Online Membership Sites.Today, I’m going to introduce you to an incredibly powerful Internet asset. No discussion about Info-Product creation is complete without some kind of mention of Online Membership Sites….

If you plan to develop your own online courses, you’re going to have to get comfortable with online memberships. Personally, I use ClickFunnels and OptimizePress to build our membership sites.
Online Memberships are a necessary requirement for product creators.
Online Memberships are used to protect your paid content. This is important to you because it protects your content. Members have to login with a username and password to gain access.
There are arguably 3 major areas your product is likely to fit into: health, wealth and beauty. Plus, countless sub-niches exist within them.
Also, there are different types of membership sites you can build, here are the most popular:
a. eLearning membership sites which concentrate on formal education: usually geared towards home-schooling or university degrees. Generally, these websites will ask members to sign up. Then pay a fee to work their way towards degrees and certifications.
For example, it can be a Certification for Digital Marketing or Real Estate. A Master’s Degree in language or Public Administration. People even learn new languages through some of these memberships.
Whether you’re an online instructor. A website developer. Or a businessman. Opportunities to monetize your knowledge with memberships is only limited by your imagination and skills.
b. Social Networking sites like Facebook have billions of users but did you know you can create your own social networking site? You can use a community website builder. Simply do a Google search and you’ll see there’s a plethora of platforms you can use.
c. Goal-specific sites is where most member sites fit: For instance, my Funnel Vision Method Masterclass teaches people how to build a system to generate leads, customers and referrals on autopilot.
Another example might be how to bake or sell recipes and baking products. Other examples, you could start a membership site that offers new computer software downloads, clothing wear or information and products related to health.
Tips when Starting your Own Online Membership Site:
• If you’ve decided to create your own membership site, you need to choose what kind of site you’d like to develop.
• Keep your ideal customer in mind.
• A membership site is great for a regular monthly income stream because people are always looking for more information about their interests. They want new products and services to help them achieve their goals faster.
• Stay passionate about the site materials because you have to keep content organized and up-to-date. If you lack the necessary passion to stay engaged with the content and customers, your business can stagnate and crumble.
