Hi! My name is Joel Rimmer. I’m with Oldfield’s Appliance in Eugene, Oregon. I’ve been working with Eric Dahl with Dahl Integration Marketing for about a year now.

Eric has really helped us integrate new social media, email marketing and digital marketing strategies. There are many avenues to promote and market your business. And it’s hard as a business owner to know which way to go…

…and we know that we need to promote….

The world’s been changing. The old ways of marketing are definitely changing. The newspaper, radio, television and digital is where…

…for our business and most businesses…

…where a lot of people are getting information online…

…where they are researching products.

And we need to redo the way we market and how we promote our business so that people in our market understand what we have to offer and why they should do business with us.

Eric has really helped us in designing campaigns, programs, and promotions to capture that market.

That is, the people in our market who are engaged online. I say engaged because one of the ways Eric has helped us improve our interaction with our customers online… through email…through promotions we’ve done where people have opted in to our email campaign.

And we’ve been able to communicate with them. We’ve actually had people come in from different promotions and purchase after an engagement online. These are folks who purchased from us who had never purchased from us before.

And that’s really what we’re after, to get that new customer, that customer that we haven’t gotten before. We feel like once we get the customer in the store, they see what we have to offer, who we are as a company….

Well, they’ll remember us the next time they need an appliance. They’ll remember us when they need a washer. Dryer. Refrigerator…

And Eric has really helped us with running campaigns. This software that we are using now, Infusionsoft, has helped us to engage with customers online. We’ve had a couple of instances. But one I’ll let you know is….

…We had a new customer who responded to an ad that we had run. She emailed us a particular question that she had about a washing machine. I was able to email her back, give her some tips and some options that we had.

Then she came into the store and bought the laundry machine based on my recommendation via email. She would have never come to us. She would have never gathered that customer, had she not seen our promotion.

And then we had an avenue to respond to her particular needs. Her particular questions. She had never bought from Oldfield’s before. It was her first time in the store and she left a happy customer.

We gathered a customer for life from that one experience. We have many others like that. Yes! I definitely would recommend Eric and Dahl Integration Marketing.

Eric’s follow-through. His professionalism. His understanding of the new way to market is really valuable to us and our company.
